On Wednesday evening, the Willets Road and Wheatley Bands provided a wonderful experience for all in attendance. Thanks to the tremendous work of our music teachers—Mr. D’Onofrio-Watts, Dr. Ho and Mr. Orlovsky—we were able to perform live music while still following the COVID-19 protocols required in schools.
The evening began with the Willets Road 6th and 7th Grade Band (directed by Scott Hoefling), which performed from 7:00 pm to 7:45 pm.
At 8:00 pm, the following Wheatley performance groups took the stage:
- Intermediate and Concert Band (combined), directed by Dr. Peggy Ho
- Symphonic Band, directed by Dr. Peggy Ho
