The Mittle Sisters Take First Place in NYS DECA Competition!

Over February break, 14 Wheatley students competed in the Virtual DECA State competition. The awards ceremony for the competition took place this past weekend, and three Wheatley students qualifed to move on to the National Level Competition! (The top five students in each State competition move on to the International Career Development Conference (ICDC) Competition.

Congratulations to Benjamin Meron (11th Grade), who came in fourth place in New York State in the Food Marketing Series! Congratulations as well to Anika Mittle (12th Grade) and Riya Mittle (10th Grade) for coming in first place in all of New York State in the Team Marketing Division! This is a wonderful recognition for all students! Thanks to Mrs. Malik (DECA Advisor) for her work with all of the students.
