Victor Li Competes as a 2020 National Biolympiad Finalist!

National Finalist in the USA Biolympiad

This past July, Victor Li (Class of 2021) competed in the 18th Annual USA Biolympiad (USABO) National Finals. Victor was among 20 finalists nationwide who competed virtually, this year, due to COVID-19 pandemic, out of 10,000 students who registered to compete.

As described in the website:

During the ten days of the National Finals, students participated in intensive theoretical and practical tutorials. The high school students studied with leading U.S. biologists who are experts in the fields of cellular & molecular biology, plant anatomy & physiology, animal anatomy & physiology, genetics & evolution, ecology, ethology, and biosystematics.

Although Victor was not selected to advance to the International Competition, his participation in this prestigious finals speaks to his considerable scientific talents!
