Joe and Dean Compete in New York State Wrestling Championships!

Congratulations to Wheatley Seniors Joe Contrastano (120 lbs) and Dean Sheinman (170lbs) who won the Nassau County Wrestling Championships on 15 February 2020 at Cold Spring Harbor High School.  Joe earned his victory at 120 lbs while Dean earned his at 170 lbs.

This is Dean’s first Nassau County Championship, while Joe’s fourth consecutive Nassau County Championship!

Both student-athletes will represent The Wheatley School and Section 8 in the NYSPHSAA wrestling championships this weekend February 28-29, 2020 in Albany, New York.  Best of luck to both Dean and Joe!
