On Wednesday, 23 October, Wheatley’s 11th Annual Day of Service and Learning took place. As part of this day, students and faculty engaged in approximately three dozen different service activities throughout Long Island. Some of the activities included:

Over the next week or so, I will provide more details (and photos) from some of the activities. None of these activities would have been possible without the tireless efforts of our coordinators, Mr. Timothy Schwalm and Mr. Jason Craven. Additionally, the PTO provided valuable support in the planning, organizing and implementation of the day. Finally, our parent community was so generous in their donations of supplies!
