Earlier today, four Wheatley Cross Country athletes (Emilia Keys, Amanda Ustick, Yani Lin, Declan Brady) competed in the State Qualification meet for the right to run in next week’s State Championship meet. On a beautiful morning at Bethpage State Park, all four athletes earned the right to compete next week.
Of particular note was Emmie’s performance, as she earned a second place finish in her race!
Congratulations to all four runners, and best of luck as they compete next weekend at the State Championship meet at Sunken Meadow State Park!
