In the midst of our region’s heat wave, the Wheatley hallways are hot and filled with excitement on these first few days of the 2018-19 academic year! Members of our Class of 2019 returned to school wearing their Senior shirts with pride, and students in other grades oriented themselves to the rhythms of a new year. Classrooms and hallways were filled with students getting reacquainted with each other and with their teachers.

For members of the Class of 2019, the year began with the Senior Sunrise. Most of these students then returned to school in the evening in order to attend the “Driving in the Safe Lane” presentation.

It is going to be a wonderful school year!
