Project Sweet Dreams creates decorative pillow cases for children with cancer. Donated to pediatric cancer wards, these pillow cases help to brighten a child’s room and provide hope and inspiration during a challenging times.
Wheatley students have participated in this project for many years, with the pillow cases heading to Winthrop Hospital’s pediatric center.
With the guidance and assistance of Lauren Blum, Diane Fezza, Susan Donofrio, Maryann Gonzalez, Susan Catalano, Michel Dunn, Kelly McCotter and Lynn Castoro, students filled three rooms in order to make scores of pillow cases during our 9th Annual Day of Service and Learning!
