Wheatley Students Report on Day 2 in Peru!

Alexandra and Rahul provided us with the following update from their second full day in Peru!

Yesterday, we had quite a long day. We started our day early at 2am, where we took a two-hour flight to Cuzco. First, we went to Sacsayhuaman and hiked and walked through a pitch black cave. We also rode slides made out of natural rock! Afterwards, we walked through the mountains and saw terraced farming gardens. Next, we went to a beautiful, outdoor buffet and ate traditional, and amazing Peruvian cuisine. Afterwards, we had the chance to experience the Peruvian salt mines. We also had the chance to learn how to make cloth out of alpaca wool.

The group also provided some great photos from this second day!
