Congratulations to Joe Contrastano, Shawn Mosca, John DeRidder, Chris Moretta, Matt Teemsma, Gabe Graca, Liam Coffey, and Max Mosca who represented the Carle Place/Wheatley Wrestling team at the Nassau County Division 2 Wrestling Championship on Saturday at Cold Spring Harbor High School. Chris Moretta finished 4th and Matt Teemsma finished 3rd.

Wheatley freshman Joe Contrastano won his first County Championship, Wheatley senior Shawn Mosca won his second County Championship and Carle Place junior John DeRidder won his second County Championship. These  three outstanding wrestlers will be competing for a State Championship at the Times Union Center in Albany on Friday, February 24 and Saturday, February 25.
