Sweet Dreams are Made during this Day of Service and Learning!

Among other activities, Project Sweet Dreams encourages the creation of decorative pillow cases for children with cancer. Donated to pediatric cancer wards, these pillow cases help to brighten a child’s room and provide hope and inspiration during a tremendously challenging time. Wheatley students have participated in this project for many years, with the pillow cases heading to Winthrop Hospital’s pediatric center.

With the guidance and assistance of Lauren Blum, Lisa Price, Diane Fezza, Maryann Gonzalez and Susan Donofrio, our students created some beautiful pillowcases during our 8th Annual Day of Service and Learning!
