Jeffrey Poomkudy (Class of 2016) will be giving a presentation titled “Augustine and Spinoza: A Dichotomous Approach to the Good Life” at the Long Island High School Philosophy Conference this Saturday at Stony Brook University. With the support of Andrew Ardito, our Social Science Research teacher, Jeffrey sent a proposal to this conference organizers and was chosen to present in the Gaebelein Library at 10:00 am.
No stranger to presentations with a philosophical bent, Jeffrey was selected last year to travel to Estonia to represent the US in the 23rd International Philosophy Olympiad!
Congratulations and good luck to Jeffrey as he prepares for this weekend’s presentation!
