Last week, Eric Brach (Class of 1999) visited Wheatley and spent time with our School Within-A-School (SWS) program — a program from which he graduated while attending Wheatley. At its core, SWS is in many ways a writing program: students spend countless hours learning to write and rewrite.
Through a series of unexpected turns, Eric Brach has found himself as a lecturer at California Lutheran University and the author or coauthor of a number of successful books. As part of his presentation to the SWS community, Eric spoke about his work as a writer and his career path that has taken him from his work at McKinsey & Company to his current position as Director of Instruction Programs for LAPD’s Police Orientation Preparation Program.
It was terrific to have Eric back to Wheatley to share his experiences with our students!
