The spring months are a dangerous time for driving. Every year, local newspapers report the tragic deaths of teenagers involved in car accidents. Click here to read about some of the statistics related to driving deaths and click here to view a documentary on texting while driving.
Chris Memoli was a Long Island teenager when he was involved in a horrific car accident — the result of an impromptu decision to race another car early one morning. Although Chris was not driving the car, he was not wearing a seatbelt and suffered traumatic brain injury. After the accident and his recovery, Chris dedicated his life to reaching out to other teens to share his story and caution them about making good decisions.
