Dr. Staudt to be Featured at Long Island Museum Symposium!

Dr. John Staudt, one of our Social Studies faculty members, is actively engaged in so many of our initiatives at Wheatley, including AP Core, College Regional Studies and Mock Trial. Dr. Staudt also a well-regarded historian, with a specialty on Long Island during the revolutionary war.

Next Saturday, 15 November, Dr. Staudt will be one of the featured speakers at the Long Island Museum’s symposium, “Long Island in the American Revolution.”  Dr. Staudt will be featured alongside Pulitzer Prize winning author Ted Burrows. Although the symposium is already sold out, you can read a bit about it through the following article from the Suffolk Times: Long Island’s Role in the American Revolution.

Congratulations to Dr. Staudt for this terrific recognition!
