Wheatley Students Create Bracelets for @ProjectSunshine as Part of the #DayofService

Project Sunshine is a nonprofit organization that provides free educational, recreational, and social programs to children and families living with medical challenges. (That is directly from their website!) On our 6th Annual Day of Service and Learning, more than three dozen students spent the day making bracelets in support of this terrific organization. Under the leadership of Allison Chanin-Bermudez, Kristen Malik and Lauren Walbroehl, students worked together to make (and learn how to make) these braided bracelets — all in the spirit of generosity and service to others.
