Michelle Nourmand, member of the Class of 2015, died on 1 July 2014 after a long and brave battle against cancer. An exceptionally kind, thoughtful and generous young woman, Michelle will be remembered by all who had the fortune of getting to know her.
On Tuesday, Wheatley had a brief Remembrance Service so that our students could have an opportunity to celebrate and remember a truly remarkable classmate. Students and faculty shared their memories of Michelle, Alex Boubour (Class of 2015) sang a moving rendition of Eric Clapton’s “Tears in Heaven” and Morgan Hanel (Class of 2015) shared a lovely video tribute of Michelle.
