Allison Chanin-Bermudez Recognized for Outstanding Service

On Monday, 19 May, during the Long Island Science Congress Awards Ceremony, Wheatley science teacher extraordinaire Allison Chanin-Bermudez was presented with the Edith Stillwagon Memorial Award for Teachers on Monday night for her service to the Long Island Science Congress for over 25 years.

Ms. Chanin-Bermudez has been an integral part of this Science Congress fair as Director of Congresses, and is a gracious and caring host of the awards ceremony and fairs every year.  She tirelessly devotes her time to making sure that these science fairs run smoothly, with every student getting the most positive experience that they possibly can.

[Thank you for Thomas Van Bell for his description of this recognition!]
