Wheatley’s CARE Club Recognized by Winthrop University Hospital!

In its relatively short existence as a student extracurricular activity, Wheatley’s Cancer Awareness Research and Education (CARE) Club has had a powerful impact on our community. Through its fashion show and sales activities, the CARE club has been able to raise sufficient funds to make important donations of money and time to organizations that support children and families suffering through cancer. Recently, the CARE Club was recognized (once again) by Winthrop University’s Breast Health Center for its contributions. We are thankful for the tireless efforts of the students members along with the guidance of the club’s faculty advisor, Christina Cambria.
