Wheatley’s School Store Takes Care of Business!

Three years ago, our school store launches with the assistance of a PTO mini-grant. Selling Wheatley-branded items such as pens, sweatshirts, t-shirts, USB drives and many other items, the store has helped to spread school spirit as it provides an important service to those students (and adults!) in need of a notebook or stamp.

Remarkably, our school store is run and managed by students in our Life Skills program. Under the guidance of Ms. Laurino and the other adult assistants, students select items to be sold (even contributing to their design at times!), track sales, maintain inventory, and manage the accounts.

For the students, the school store provides a wonderful experience and an important educational opportunity.
