On Saturday, 12 November, Wheatley defeated Blind Brook High School to capture the Boys Soccer Regional Class B Championship. After falling behind in the 15th minute of the game, Jonathan Kowalczyk scored off a pass from Alex Butwin three minutes later.
Wheatley’s winning goal came in the 49th minute off a penalty kick taken by BJ Schiela.
