On Friday night, our CARE club sponsored the first annual Runway to the Cure fashion show. Within a transformed auditorium, the audience enjoyed a playful and thematic fashion show. With clothes donated by local merchants, Wheatley students modeled the latest trends for the audience.
The beneficiary of the evening’s events was the Sunrise Day Camp, the nation’s only dedicated day camp for children with cancer. Through the efforts of our talented CARE Club students and Advisor Christina Cambria, over $3800 was raised for the camp. Congratulations for a job very well done!
